In 1906 Augusto Pedrazinni emigrated from Italy’s Lake Como district to Lake Zurich in Switzerland and started a shipyard. Within a few years the yard, that initially manufactured fishing and rowing boats, became famous throughout Switzerland for the quality of its workmanship.
