Boat builder Mario Comitti started building high-speed powerboats in 1956 on the shores of Lake Como. The Boats were a prime example of Italian styling, craftsmanship and clever engineering. His son Elia raced the boats at that time, and won numerous prices. In order to keep up with the other racing boats, the shipyard was forced to keep on developing new and faster designs. The elegance that came with this design remains part of the style of the Comitti boats today.
